Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired, this Wednesday, a government meeting, devoted to the examination of two draft executive decrees relating to the conditions and modalities of development and implementation of national programs for the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, as well as the modalities of registration and removal from the national list of terrorist persons and entities and the resulting effects.
These draft decrees “are part of the adaptation of the national legal system to international instruments and commitments in this area, in accordance with the commitments of the President of the Republic,” indicated a press release from the Prime Minister’s office.
Within the framework of the directives of the President of the Republic, the government examined the sectoral proposals for the creation of urban centers at the level of the wilayas of the Hauts-Plateaux and the South in order to guarantee decent housing and to improve and diversify the housing offer, according to the same source.
The government also heard a presentation on the implementation of the national road safety strategy, with the need to strengthen the mechanisms for preventing traffic accidents adopted by public authorities, and to incorporate new tools and instruments that comply with road safety requirements and contribute to reducing road accidents and preserving the safety and security of citizens.
As part of the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic aimed at giving priority to the agricultural sector, the government heard a presentation on the results of the study day on agricultural investment in the southern wilayas, particularly with regard to strategic crops that would contribute to achieving food security.
