Busy with the running of many major events, such as the Baccalaureate exams or the Middle Education Certificate (BEM) exams and those for the assessment of acquired skills for 5th year primary classes and catch-up exams for primary school students, the 2023/2024 school year has officially ended and it is time to take stock overall for the supervision. A joint assessment that was noted, the day before yesterday Saturday, by the Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belaabed. Indeed, the Minister of National Education chaired, the day before yesterday Saturday from the headquarters of the ministry in El-Mouradia (Algiers), via videoconference technique, a national remote symposium, in which representatives of the central administration and directors of education took part, where Minister Belaabed noted and noted both the results obtained in the national school exams of the 2024 session, in addition to monitoring the progress of the implementation of the operations scheduled until July 31 according to the deadlines specified in the operational plan.

Speaking at the opening of the national remote conference, Abdelhakim Belaabed, first of all, paid a vibrant tribute to the good results obtained and to the efforts made throughout the 2023/2024 school year by all stakeholders in the national education sector. Regarding the excellent results obtained in the assessment exam for the 5th year of primary education, where the minister described them as “results of stability” which reflect, according to him, the spirit of commitment and continued concern of all members of the educational community, each in their own field, before adding that “this has contributed to providing the conditions for success for our students, in addition to the support, guidance, monitoring and attention that the State, led by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” he said.

Furthermore, and during his meeting the day before yesterday with senior officials of the Ministry of National Education, Abdelhakim Belaabed also noted the progress of the implementation of operations that should be completed in a few days and before the end of this current month of July, operations mainly related to the Action Plan for schooling, personnel and support for schools, as well as the distribution of school textbooks and the renovation of educational institutions. And before concluding his meeting with senior officials of the central administration, the Minister of National Education affirmed the day before yesterday that the utmost importance must be given to the meetings of the Wilaya Committees to decide on the appeals scheduled for July 21 and 22 and to rule on the cases raised by students and their parents.
