Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired, yesterday Wednesday, a government meeting devoted to monitoring the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic relating to digital transformation.
According to a press release from the Prime Ministry’s services, the Government heard a presentation on “the progress of the digitalization of services” and “the systems used by the tax, national property and customs directorates, which aims to simplify procedures and improve the quality of services provided by these directorates, with a particular emphasis on the development of interoperability with other institutions and public administrations.” In addition, the Government also heard “a presentation of the national strategy for the development of fuel storage and distribution facilities, which defines the main lines of action within the framework of a proactive approach aimed at ensuring responsible and secure management of these resources according to a development program spanning the period 2024-2028.” Also, the same source indicates, “the Government has examined the situation of the supply of drinking water throughout the national territory and the progress of the implementation of the complementary program of desalination of sea water approved by the President of the Republic, which aims to increase the contribution of desalinated water to national needs. Moreover, the Government has also examined “a draft Executive Decree establishing the modalities of organization of penitentiary establishments and facilitating the rehabilitation and social reintegration of prisoners in application of Law No. 05-04 of February 6, 2005 relating to the organization of penitentiary establishments and the reintegration of prisoners, as well as the law relating to the organization of penitentiary establishments and the reintegration of prisoners.”
