Ukrainian Defense Intelligence reports an operation in the northern part of the Black Sea:
On August 6, 2024, special forces of the Artan active operations unit and the Maritime Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine landed on Tendrivska Kosa and destroyed Russian armored vehicles, in particular the MT-LB, the enemy’s EW complex, and Russian fortifications. Russians also had personnel losses.
Having completed the assigned task, including the secret part of it, our Warriors left without losses.
Tendrivska Kosa is a narrow island about 65 km long and up to 1.8 km wide. It is located in the northern part of the Black Sea, near the Ukrainian Crimea. Ukrainian Defense Intelligence shared that the operation above was not the first successful entry of Defense Intelligence units on Tendrivska Kosa.
