In July, 56 new shelters were set up in Ukraine, most of them in educational institutions.
In terms of the number of new civil defense protective structures, schools and kindergartens are in the lead – 19. In addition, 9 shelters were set up in residential buildings, 2 in cultural institutions, and 1 in a health care facility.
19 modular shelters were also installed on the streets of cities. In total, since the beginning of this year, 569 works worth UAH 613 million have been completed. By the end of the year, it is planned to prepare another 1,979 objects, announced Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Timur Tkachenko.
