Russia is changing its offensive tactics in the Kharkiv region.
The Russian occupiers are constantly changing their assault tactics and are looking for the most effective ways to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian military in the north of the Kharkiv region.
This was announced on the air of the telethon by the spokesman of the operational and tactical group “Kharkiv” Vitaliy Sarantsev.
“Tactics are quite changeable, constantly changing. Sometimes the enemy tries to storm in small groups with the support of artillery, sometimes they try to increase these groups. Over the past day, a heavy flamethrower system “TOS-1″ was used against our troops in Vovchansk,” he said.
Sarantsev said that the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation, the 128th and 138th brigades, as well as airborne assault units, are operating in this direction. He also noted that the Russians are replenishing losses at the expense of reserves and the transfer of units from other directions of the front.
As of July 28, the total combat losses of the Russian occupiers amounted to 574,690 people. During the past day, another 1180 invaders were killed.
Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the week of July 21-28, 2024, the losses of the enemy amounted to about 7.980 personnel. In addition, 1.536 units of weapons and military equipment were destroyed, incl. 78 tanks, 132 armored fighting vehicles, 350 artillery systems, 6 MLRS, 10 air defense systems, 536 units of vehicles, and 55 units of special equipment. Apart from this, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another enemy aircraft, 4 missiles and 364 UAVs.
