The Russian media have reported a UAV attack on the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar Territory. Allegedly, a ferry carrying weapons for the occupiers was hit. In comments on related posts, users mentioned damage to a railway ferry, leading to the closure of the comment sections, according to the monitoring group “ Krymskyi Veter” (“Crimean Wind”).

Subsequently, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev confirmed the attack on the ferry. He stated that the ship caught fire as a result of the impact, resulting in injuries among the crew and one fatality.

The port of Kavkaz is the fifth largest port in Russia in terms of cargo turnover and the second largest in the Black Sea-Azov basin after the port of Novorossiysk.
