Ukrainian Soldier Who Lost His Limbs Dreams Of Driving
Ukrainian soldier Vyacheslav Levitskiy, 41, was seriously injured in Ukraine’s Donetsk region in February 2023. He lay in the cold without medical help for days before he was captured by Russian forces and taken to Chechnya, where his frostbitten hands and injured lower legs were amputated. Now learning to use prosthetic limbs, he dreams of one day being able to drive again.
