Despite the hugs and the pompous reception of Modi, the Indian PM gave the Russian murderer some uncomfortable moments.
India’s prime minister told the Russian murderer that the death of innocent children was ‘painful’ and ‘terrifying’.
“Whether it is war, conflict or a terrorist attack, any person who believes in humanity, is pained when there is loss of lives,” Modi said. “But even in that, when innocent children are killed, the heart bleeds and that pain is very terrifying.”
India has not condemned the Russian invasion, but that doesn’t mean that it supports the war. It doesn’t support the war at all. The war makes Russia more dependent on China, and India doesn’t want that because China is India’s strategic competitor.
India is watching carefully as Russia draws closer to China.
Modi also asked putin to quickly discharge all misled Indians serving in his military and ensure their safe return. putin agreed.
