South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said in an interview published on Monday that Russia has to choose whether South or North Korea is more important for its national interests amid deepening concern about military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.
“Military cooperation between Russia and North Korea poses a distinct threat and grave challenge to the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in Europe,” Yoon said in the interview.
Since North Korea already supplies Russia with weapons, I consider this a rhetorical question. It is highly unlikely that Putin and Kim will or even can withdraw from their commitment. South Korea will have to react, accordingly.
