Woman killed in Russian attack on Kherson at night

The Russian army attacked the Tsentralnyi (Central) District of the city of Kherson from temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast’s left bank at around midnight on the night of 29-30 October, damaging high-rise buildings and killing a woman.

Details: One of the apartments caught fire as a result of the strike. An 85-year-old woman was killed there. Another woman was injured and was taken to hospital with burns and poisoning from combustion gases.

Two more injured, a 68-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, were hospitalised in a moderate condition.

Background: On 29 October, Russian troops launched an artillery attack on Novoberyslav, Kherson Oblast; a civilian man was injured. Later, the man died.
