92 people, including 10 children, evacuated from Pokrovsk district over past week

Ukrainian rescue workers evacuated 92 people, including 10 children and a person with limited mobility, from frontline settlements in Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast over the past week.

Details: SES reports that they also helped 305 people, including 49 children and 43 people with limited mobility.

Background:

  • On 5 September, the Myrnohrad City Military Administration announced the evacuation trains will no longer travel from Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast due to the worsening security situation.
  • The Pavlohrad station in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast became the initial departure station for the evacuation trains transporting people from Donetsk Oblast.
