🇲🇩Most of Moldova’s regions voted against the prospect of joining the EU in a referendum, although the overall result is that supporters of European integration currently have a slight advantage.

Based on the results of counting 99.46% of votes, 50.41% of voters voted for the inclusion of the European integration course in the Constitution, while 49.59% voted against. That is, the last 0.54% of votes could equalize the results or even bring opponents of joining the EU ahead by a small margin.

However, in the breakdown by regions, opponents of European integration have a sharp lead – 26 districts against 9. The highest result against is in Gagauzia (94.84%).
