🇸🇾❗️US-backed militants from al-Tanf announced the capture of the cities of Yabrud and al-Nabk on the M5 Homs-Damascus highway, as well as reaching the border with Lebanon.

This means effectively cutting off the Syrian capital from communications with Homs in the north, where fighting is still ongoing, and from the Latakia coast with Russian bases in the west.

Damascus was surrounded even before the fall of Homs.
