Special Operations Forces use HIMARS to hit Russian command and staff vehicle

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) have adjusted HIMARS rocket launcher systems to fire on the Russians’ equipment in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: Operators from the 3rd Regiment of the SOF on the Donetsk front detected the movement of a R-149 AKSh command post vehicle. The Russians were using this vehicle to coordinate their units.

The SOF conducted additional reconnaissance and adjusted the HIMARS fire of a Defence Forces’ artillery unit at the command post vehicle. 

The vehicle was reported as being completely destroyed as a result of the strike.
