Argentina to beat all-time-high oil production record.
The president of Argentine 51% state-owned YPF, Horacio Marín, said on Tuesday that Argentina will beat this year the historical record of 850,000 barrels of oil per day that it had reached in 1998. In that sense, he stressed that at that time the production came from four basins and specified that in the future the protagonist will be the Neuquén Basin where the construction of the “Vaca Muerta Sur” pipeline will be fundamental.
