➡️ In 1974, Turkey invaded Cyprus TWICE within three weeks.
➡️ Turkey has been trying from 1950’s to dismember Cyprus by ethnically cleansing and appropriating the properties of Greek, Armenian and Maronite Cypriots from the northern third of Cyprus.
➡️ Since then, Turkey has continued to import Turkish settlers destroying even the Turkish Cypriot community in its attempt to control the future of the occupied territories.
🔥 Repeatedly there has been protests by local Cypriot Turks against Ankara over its backing of Islamist policies against the will of the population, which is majority secular and Kemalist.
Turkey is an occupier.
Turkey is an invader.
Turkey is an genocidal entity built on the blood of innocent people.
🇪🇺 Cyprus is the only European Union Country under a Direct Military Occupation since the start of the Bloc’s formation.
Thus, If there’s anything that Cyprus should be freed from is from Turkish occupation
