The order for the Leopard 2 and Boxer is expected to have a total price as high as 25 billion €, with budget requests to be finalised in the coming months, as pricing is still being negotiated with the respective producers.

Additionally, the Bundeswehr is expected to order close to 1.000 Patria CAVS to replace its current fleet of Fuchs APC. The order is expected to be valued at 2 billion € with FFG to localise 90% of the vehicle’s production in Germany.

📝: How will Germany rebuild its military when industrial production is declining and German authorities have no idea as to how to fix the cause of this decline other than offer subsidies they themselves admit they can’t afford without going into excessive debt?
