IDF suicides have seen a sharp increase recently, with three soldiers killing themselves since July 7. This one, although he has not been announced dead, is the fourth.

Some Israeli authorities have requested an urgent investigation and answers regarding the rise in suicides in the army.

Since late 2023, at least 43 Israeli soldiers have died by suicide.
