All means mobilized.
All human and material resources will be mobilized to guarantee a fair and successful 2025/2026 social school year, especially for children from disadvantaged families living in rural areas. This was said on Monday, this on Monday, Soraya Mouloudji, Minister of National Solidarity, the Family and the Woman’s condition, during a coordination meeting held at the headquarters of the ministry.
Ms. Mouloudji said that this meeting is part of the regular monitoring of sector programs and projects, in accordance with the orientations of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Surrounded by executives of the central administration, the Minister opened the work by a detailed examination of preparations for the start of the school year and school 2025/2026. This meeting also made it possible to take stock of the progress of investment projects, the evaluation of the sectoral action plan and the measures intended to strengthen the protection of children against violence.
A report was presented on the devices intended to support beneficiaries of social programs, with a focus on school children from modest households. The Minister has given directives to ensure the availability of all material, logistical and educational means before the start of the classes. Ms. Mouloudji noted the importance of close coordination with the partner sectors, in particular national education, health and local communities, in order to guarantee optimal care and create the conditions for serene learning.
One of the major points on the agenda was the presentation of a first report drawn up by mixed sectoral commissions on mechanisms to combat violence against children. This document offers a series of legislative, regulatory and awareness -raising measures to strengthen the legal and social protection of this vulnerable population of the population.
The minister called for expanding consultation to all institutional, associative and field partners, in order to achieve a global, coherent and effective vision. “Child protection is a collective responsibility and requires a flawless commitment,” she said.
The displayed objective is therefore to consolidate national solidarity and guarantee the cohesion of the social fabric, while ensuring that no child is left behind the start of the school year.
The other component discussed during this meeting concerns investment projects included in the year 2025. A detailed report has presented the realization rates recorded to date, while identifying the constraints encountered in the field.
The minister urged her teams to quickly remove the reports reported, in order to respect the delivery times and accelerate the pace of execution. “Respect for deadlines and good resource management are essential to effectively meet the needs of citizens,” she said, recalling that rigor and transparency are the pillars of good governance in the sector.
The meeting also made it possible to draw up an intermediate assessment of the Ministry’s action plan. The indicators recorded since the start of the year were compared to the objectives set. The encouraging results in certain areas have been welcomed, while others require reinforced support. Ms. Mouloudji has finally noted the importance of maintaining this continuous monitoring and evaluation dynamic, in order to adjust programs and optimize the impact of social policies in the field.
