The petition calling for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize in Francesca Albanese, UN special rapporteur for occupied Palestinian territories, and doctors who save lives in Gaza, borders on the symbolic CAP of the million: already 977,590 supporters.francesca Albanese refused to be silent against the current genocide in Gaza. She shows unwavering tenacity and courage, always alongside international, weakest and oppressed law. Deeply humanist, she embodies the defense of human rights in what is most universal, despite the pressures and threats that aim for her. These doctors risk their lives every day. They work in appalling conditions, often without electricity, without drugs or suitable surgical equipment. At the heart of chaos, they operate, take care of and resuscitates with derisory means, animated by the sole desire to save lives. Their courage forces respect and embodies human dignity in the face of the inhuman. The signatories underline that the appointments in their favor multiply and that this prize would reward not only their selflessness, but also the heroic work of the caregivers who, every day, challenge death to tear off others. “We are millions around the world,” recalls the text. The objective: to quickly reach a million signatures and send a strong signal to eligible nominators and to the Nobel Committee. And when this CAP is crossed, the support for genocide will have rage – a sign that truth and justice can still shake up the established order.
