De nouvelles structures pour la rentrée – Le Jeune Indépendant


The education sector in the wilaya of Béjaïa will be reinforced by numerous structures thanks to the next school year. The imminent delivery of these establishments is likely to relatively reducing the overload of the classes from which many establishments suffer, allowing better care of students in terms of schooling, in particular control of groups, improving the quality of education, learning and also allowing better individual educational monitoring of students. The three teaching cycles are concerned.

In this regard, the secondary cycle will be consolidated by two new high schools and several classrooms and the Middle will benefit from two new CEMs and two semi-orns.

Regarding the primary level, the sector will be reinforced by 10 new primary schools and 13 school canteens as well as 37 new rooms arranged as part of the establishments extension program to reduce the pressure of the number due to the significant number of pupils assigned.

In addition to these new structures and infrastructure, the education sector has also benefited from a care unit (UDS) and a school stage, which will also open their doors from the start of the start of the school year. It should be noted that 10 primary schools will be incessantly with school canteens in Béjaïa. The challenge of the education sector and APCs for the coming months is to provide, precisely, many schools with school canteens.

Regarding the downgrading of land allocated to the education sector, the president of APW said during a recent intervention that “the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development has given its agreement in principle for the assignment of land for the construction of projects under the sector” whose land before hosting the project to build a primary school in Takliaât, commune of Béjaïa whose study was made and registration dates back to around 12 years.

There is, also, according to the P/APW, the project to build a primary school in the Aguemoune village, commune of Aokas pending for several months. As a reminder, the Minister of Agriculture had announced during his visit to Béjaïa that a multisectoral committee should be dispatched to it at the beginning of September in order to work on the files in question and other files relating to the downgrading of projects relating to the sectors of health, hydraulics and public works.

In addition, the APC of Chemini launched an operation to maintain and install 10 boilers for the benefit of 10 primary schools. At least 5 have been equipped with central heating in anticipation of the next winter period, including those of Ilmathen Semaoune, Djenane and Ath Soula, among others. Ditto for the APC of Kherrata, development work affecting 32 primary schools in the town were launched several weeks ago.

The intervention of the APC concerns repair, maintenance and development of certain aspects, including roads, drinking water, electricity, heaters, especially schools that have been the subject of thefts a few weeks ago. Studies have also been proposed by the APC for the realization and transformation of housing into school canteens in favor of some establishments.
