UIPA highlights the importance of the role of young people

The Arab Interparliamentary Union (UIPA) stressed the importance of the role of young people in achieving sustainable development objectives (SDGs) and societal aspirations, having regard to the determining impact of this category in the promotion of companies.
In a press release signed by its president, Mr. Brahim Boughali, President of the National People’s Assembly (APN), published Tuesday on the occasion of International Youth Day (August 12), the UIPA reaffirmed its commitment to the rights of young people by “the strengthening of laws guaranteeing young people in decision -making in Arab countries, in particular through parliamentary action, so that the revitalization of the culture of the nation ”.
The Arab Interparliamentary Union has, in this context, highlighted the importance of the role of Arab governments in the adaptation of global objectives relating to youth to local contexts, to “promote the skills of young Arab and develop their cognitive skills and capacities, as a vectors of societies” and “make young people proud of their cultural specificities and reject any form of imitation or Self -sowing ”.
