The President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, said on Wednesday that Algeria, remaining faithful to its unconditional commitment to the Sahrawi cause, “consecrates a civilizational principle anchored in its foreign policy, inspired by its pioneering November experience”. In a speech read in its name by Senator Ayache Djebailia, at the end of the University Managers of the Polisario Front, held in the wilaya of Boumerdès, Mr. Nasri stressed that “Algeria, faithful to its total and unconditional commitment to the just Sahrawi cause, and its support for the right of the Sahrawis to independence and to have their wealth, devotes a civilizational principle anchored in its foreign policy, inspired by its november experience pioneer against French colonialism Gloriously praised by universal memory, a story that discredited the fallacious colonial approaches, by its victories and shaped the course of history by an immutable law, that of the inevitable end of colonialism regardless of its duration “. The position of Algeria towards the Sahrawi cause, adds Mr. Nasri, “is part of his African membership, his defense of the interests of Africa and his conviction that the time has come to rid it of colonialism and the looting of its wealth”.
This position is also “the message of Algerian diplomacy under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who reaffirms in all the stands, that Algeria will not give up the Sahrawi cause, as a question of decolonization, and calls for its support and its regulation according to the single and real solution”.
