Chanegriha calls for strengthening cohesion

It is a message of congratulations and mobilization. The army general Said Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and chief of staff of the National People’s Army, took the opportunity of the celebration of the National Mount Day, commemorated every August 20, to send this message intended for all military and civilian staff of the ANP.

In his text published this Tuesday by the Ministry of National Defense (MDN), the chief of staff welcomed “the officers, non-commissioned officers, men of the rank and civilian personal personal army, worthy heiress of the army of national liberation”, by adding their wishes of success to them in the noble missions entrusted to them, “in the service of Algeria and loyalty to the message of martyrs and valiant mujahideen ”.

After recalling that this national day marks two decisive stages of the Revolution, with the attacks of the North Constantine in 1955 and the Congress of Soummam in 1956, the general of the army insisted on the duty of recognition towards the fighters of freedom which released the country “by iron and fire”, stressing the need to preserve their inheritance.

According to Chanegriha, the National People’s Army remains faithful to this commitment, inspired by “national values, unity and collective memory” to meet current and future challenges.

The chief of staff has also highlighted the responsibility of the armed forces in the modernization of their capacities, in order to guarantee the security of the people and to allow the country to continue its march towards economic, social and civilizational progress, in an unstable international context.

The chief of staff said that “Algeria is today more than ever needed by its loyal children”, calling the military in this sense, “worthy descendants of the heroes of the revolution”, to be proud of their ancestors and walking on their traces.

He concluded by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Resistance, the War of Liberation and the National Duty, whose sacrifices will remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
