APN-Parlacen
An official delegation of the National People’s Assembly (APN) goes, from August 23 to 28 in progress, to the Central American Parliament (Parlacen), at the invitation of the president of this regional parliamentary body, located in Guatemala City, said a statement from the Baland of Parliament yesterday on Saturday.
This visit, which is part of the “strengthening of parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of expertise between regional and international parliaments”, aims to “explore the ways of developing partnerships in the fields of legislation and general policies for the benefit of peoples”, specifies the same source.
This initiative aims to be “an important step able to consolidate the presence of Algeria on the regional and international parliamentary scene and to make its commitment to consolidate dialogue and cooperation with the various global parliamentary bodies”. As a reminder, the Parlacen is the permanent regional organ of political and democratic representation of the central America integration system (SICA), bringing together the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean region.
