Plusieurs partenariats à l’export en vue  : L’IATF, plate-forme d’opportunités par excellence


The quest for new export opportunities has been launched for many Algerian companies, since the opening of the 4e Edition of the intra-African trade fair (IATF 2025), whose work continues until September 10. The first three days of this continental economic event were qualified as fruitful by many Algerian operators, having regard to the opportunities it offers and the new partnership horizons it opens.

Several sectors are identified and qualified as promising export, like the household appliances. Many producers take part in this economic event which attracts professionals, in particular Africans. At the Condor group, participation in this event with the presentation of their range of products is natural, especially since it opens up new opportunities for this producer, which is already present in several international markets.

For the deputy director of the group, Mohamed Salah Daas, the IATF presents real partnership opportunities. “We have received several demonstrations of interest from several countries, such as Nigeria and Gabon which have expressed interest in our products, with which we are under discussion,” he said, signaling the signature tomorrow, of six partnership contracts. “We have two new partnership and distribution contracts for two new markets, namely Côte-d’Ivoire and Senegal,” he said, saying that these two contracts will materialize on the sidelines of the IATF.

There will also be the signing of contracts within the framework of the export program for the year 2026 with Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Mauritania, according to the details of Mr. Daas, which indicates that the Condor group marks its presence at IATF 2025 with the exposure of all products of the brand manufactured locally. Condor is also present with a stand dedicated exclusively to centralized air conditioning, knowing that a great need is expressed on this subject on the continent, explained the DGA of Condor, signaling the ambition to position itself on the African market with these products. Stressing the importance of this meeting, he said that “the market is there, you just have to put connections between operators”.

The right verse of the food industry

The agrifood and agricultural sector also has major export opportunities, given the diversity of products but also their competitiveness, which allows them to make a place in international markets, particularly the African market.

This is what Djoudi Rabiaa, sales manager at the Tahraoui group said, which covers several sectors. Present at the IATF with the Novaprim subsidiary, specializing in the production of fruits and vegetables, the Tahraoui group aspires to make a place in the African market, after having been able to conquer markets on the European continent and the Asian continent.

“We have the ” Global Gap ” certification (international standard which establishes good agricultural practices to guarantee the quality and safety of food products) which allows us to export to 100 countries around the world,” said this sales manager, who said that during the first three days of the IATF, several meetings with African operators took place.

The latter, from various countries, such as Nigeria, Mauritania and Senegal, have expressed great interest in our agricultural products, which they want to see at the level of their market. “We agreed to stay in touch. Visits and meetings are set in order to carry out the first export operations to these countries very soon, ”said Djoudi, saying that these very first days were fruitful.

This group and other producers take part in this fair under the aegis of the National Chamber of Agriculture, which accompanies several producers and exporters. According to the Chamber’s communications officer, the objective is to support these operators in promoting their products to conquer new international markets.

Agrifood products are strongly presented and attract a large crowd. Several producers exhibit various products in front of many visitors. This is the case for the Bimo cookie factory, already present in the Mauritanian and Libyan markets. Other doors open for Bimo products, according to the explanations of the group’s communication manager, Yamina Belaidi. She claims to have received, during the IATF exhibition that the Algiers exhibition palace hosted, several requests for export partnership, notably Senegal and Ghana. A new request that will be accompanied by an increase in production capacities, she said.

The cosmetic sector is not to be outdone, especially since Algerian products, whose quality is proven, are also able to be placed on the African market, a promising market.

These activity sectors are added, it should be mentioned, to others, such as those of building materials and those of the pharmaceutical industry, on which the country counts to diversify Algerian exports.

The IATF thus presents the appropriate opportunity to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation with African countries. It is in this sense that the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) invites all economic companies and operators to seize this “unique opportunity” to conclude a maximum of commercial contracts and investment agreements. Affirming that this edition is experiencing the participation of large companies, the AAPI has reiterated its support to Algerian operators.
