The El-Djeïch review and the IATF-2025
Make the 4th edition of the intra-African trade fair (IATF 2025) “A new start and a renewed era where we are giving ourselves to advancing strong, united and prosperous Africa”. This is the call of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune-quoted by the El-Djeïch journal-addressing the leaders and African officials participating in this event that took place from 4 to 10 September 2025 in Algiers.
This call reflects the vision of President Tebboune, underlines the review El-Djeïch, in the editorial of his number for the month of September, under the title: ” For a safe, stable and prosperous continent ”. Algeria will continue to deploy great efforts to unify the voice of Africans and make it heard in the various international speakers, recalls the El-Djeïch review which indicates that “by its economic weight and its development dynamics, Algeria continues to consolidate its position as a key actor in the process of African development and integration by welcoming, in this month of September the IATF-2025”.
This important meeting reflects, according to the journal, the “commitment of our country and its tireless efforts to strengthen intra-African trade, within the framework of the African continental free trade area (ZLECAF), which will have positive repercussions on the economic and social development of the countries and peoples of the continent”.
In this sense, she said that Algeria, “will be able, according to many economist experts, to effectively contribute to the acceleration of the pace of commercial and economic integration of the continent, thanks to its economic potential and its competitive skills”, and this, in addition Africa ”.
“Algeria which, yesterday, had supported many African countries in their liberation fight to get rid of the colonial yoke and which today continues to bring its constant support to the right causes, at their head the question of Western Sahara, always marks its influential presence all the mechanisms of common African action”, adds the publication, reaffirming that “it is and will remain an active actor aimed at identifying the challenges of economic development, continental integration and the realization of ambitious vision whose contours were drawn by the African Union ”.
The journal stresses that Algeria, and from its conviction of the close interdependence between security and development, deploys “considerable efforts and plays a central role in the consolidation of security and stability on the continent”, by making its contribution to the various common operational executives of the continent in matters of cooperation in the field of the fight against terrorism.
This approach was reaffirmed, recalls El-Djeïch, by the army general Said Chanegriha, minister delegate to the Minister of National Defense, chief of the Child Staff of the National People’s Army, in a speech addressed to the participants in the Fiscounter ” North African Peace III ” that Algeria hosted last May. “Algeria, which has always been and continues to be a voice that defends Africa and pleads in the various international enclosures for the interests and aspirations of its countries and its peoples, just as it takes into account the problems and concerns of the continent, also carries its aspirations and its hopes of rebirth, development and prosperity in a climate of security and stability”, reads in the editorial, “Deploys great efforts to unify the voice of Africans and make it heard around the world.”
“It is certain that the leading place that Algeria occupies on the African scene is the fruit of its global, complementary and balanced approach”, which combines “active and efficient diplomacy, sustainable development, responsible security cooperation”.
In conclusion, the editorial recalls the immutable principles that our country has made its own: “Respect for the sovereignty of States, non-interference in their internal affairs, good neighborhood, predominance of peaceful solutions on the logic of force as well as respect for the values of unity, solidarity and common action for a safe, stable and prosperous continent”.
