President Tebboune appoints members of the government

The appointment, by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, of members of the government led by the Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb -who was confirmed in his post earlier in the day -, registers, in addition to the arrival of new ministers, several innovations compared to the previous executives. So, the new government team, announced by the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, Samir Aggoune, understands the of the State and local communities, which never existed in any Algerian government.
He is entrusted to Brahim Merad who becomes, on this occasion, Minister of State. The departments of the interior and local communities, which he was in charge, are devoted to Said Sayoud, which at the same time retains the Department of Transport and becomes Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport.
Other novelties: a change has affected the portfolio of Mohamed Arkab, who became Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, in place of Minister of State for Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, and it is Mohamed Adjal, former CEO of the Sonelgaz group, new minister, who is entrusted with the newly created ministry in charge of Energy and Energy and Energy renewable.
The portfolio of Secretary of State for Renewable Energies has been abolished, while Karima Bakir, Secretary of State to the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, in charge of mines, is maintained in his post, as well as Sofiane Chaib and Bakhta Selma Mansouri, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for the national community abroad and African affairs respectively. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community abroad and African Affairs, retains his portfolio as well as Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of the National People’s Army, Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, and Abdelkrim Bouzred, Minister of Finance.
Mohamed Tarek Belaribi is, for his part, maintained in his functions as Minister of Housing, Town Planning, the City, and is entrusted in addition to regional planning. Furthermore, no change has occurred at the head of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Kamel Baddari), National Education (Mohammed Seghir Saâdaoui), the pharmaceutical industry (Ouacim Kouidri), foreign trade and the promotion of exports (Kamel Rezig), the economy of knowledge, start-ups and micro-companies (Noureddine Ouadah), tourism and crafts (Houria Meddahi), post and telecommunications (Sid Ali Zerrouki), hydraulics (Taha Derbal), national solidarity, family and the condition of women (Soraya Mouloudji), Sports (Walid Sadi), religious affairs and wakfs (Youcef Belmehdi), and youth (Mustapha Hidaoui). Yahia Boukhari, on the other hand, remains secretary general of the government. Changes have been noted: Yacine El Mahdi Oualid, who was Minister of Professional Training and Education, was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, replacing Youcef Cherfa. Yahia Bachir, is appointed Minister of Industry, Amel Abdellatif takes the lead from the Ministry of Internal Trade and regulation of the national market, replacing Tayeb Zitouni. Abdelkader Djellaoui receives the portfolio of public works and basic infrastructures, replacing Lakhdar Rekhroukh, while Abdelhak Saihi goes from Minister of Health to Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, succeeding Fayçal Bentaleb, and it is Mohamed Seddik has Messaoudene who replaces him at the head of the Ministry of Health.
Abdelmalek Tacherift is Minister of Mujahideen and Local Lockers, replacing Laïd Rebiga. Malika Bendouda is Minister of Culture and Arts, succeeding Zouhir Ballalou. Zoheir Bouamama was appointed Minister of Communication, replacing Mohamed Meziane. Mohamed Abdenour Rabehi, Wali of Algiers, is appointed as minister. A permutation: Kaoutar Krikou was appointed Minister of the Environment and the Quality of Life and Nadjiba Djilali Minister of Relations with Parliament.
