Le wali insiste sur la transparence – Le Jeune Indépendant

The situation of agricultural land was the focal point of the meeting of the technical committee responsible for sanitation of agricultural land in the wilaya of Médéa, under the chairmanship of the Wali Djillali Doumi, in the presence of the secretary general of the wilaya, the director of regulations and general affairs (DRAG) and members of the executive council concerned. This was indicated by a press release from the wilaya, noting that the emphasis was placed on transparency in the management of this file.

The meeting follows the installation, on June 25, 2025, of the wilaya committee responsible for sanitation of agricultural land whose mission relates to “the census, examination and processing of land issues, with ensured follow -up via the digital platform of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries,” added the same source.

In its presentation presented on the occasion of this meeting, the director of agricultural services (DSA) reviewed the state of agricultural investments through the census of 833 investors who benefited from an area of ​​51,319 ha, including 465 collective investors and 368 individual investors.

Intervening in this regard, the wali insisted on transparency in the conduct of the work of the technical committee, the mobilization of the sectors concerned to solve the problems and put an end to the obstacles likely to hinder the process of sanitation of agricultural land. Because, he said, the strategy implemented by the public authorities is to “effectively respond to the problem of sustainability, essentially, in the exploitation of agricultural land, hence the need for their protection”, according to the details of the wilaya.

The said Technical Committee was created under inter -ministerial circular n ° 02 of June 1, 2025, as part of the application of the measures contained in the interministerial circular n ° 02 of June 1, 2025 relating to the regularization of agricultural land.

It is recalled that the Committee aims to “examine the main issues, in particular those linked to the absence of final contracts, to delays in the transfers of pleasure rights, to abuse of land, to inheritance disputes and differences between documented areas and reality”.
