In a statement to the press, Mouloudji said that all the necessary measures had been taken to ensure a return to the best conditions. While specifying: “We have mobilized all the material and human resources in order to guarantee optimal supervision at more than 40,000 children with specific needs, educated in 242 centers and specialized schools, accompanied by 19 annexes, to which are added 11 new open structures this year. »»
The Minister added that the sector now supervises 1,622 specialized classes, supported by a multidisciplinary body of more than 15,000 professionals, made up of specialized teachers, psychologists, educators and auxiliaries, all mobilized to ensure continuous and suitable monitoring of each student. She added that this school year was also marked by the opening of three new centers, 9 annexes and 200 specialized classes, in order to meet the increasingly important needs of children and to expand access to special education throughout the national territory.
In addition, the first manager of the sector said that to prepare for this school year, the ministry has developed a special unified guide, bringing together all the procedures and measures to be followed by wilaya directions and specialized establishments. This guide constitutes, affirms Mouloudji, “an essential strategic support for creating a favorable, educational and organizational environment, guaranteeing academic success and the development of children to specific needs”.
The Minister also highlighted innovative initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion and access to knowledge. She notably announced the reception of the first manual in English in Braille technology, intended for visually impaired students, in application of the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, noting that this measure will open up new perspectives in learning languages and school disciplines.
At the end of the official ceremony, Mouloudji went to the field to see directly the implementation of these measures. She visited the Sidi Yahia 2 primary school as well as the psychopedagogical center for mentally deficient children, located in Birkhadem, in Algiers. These visits allowed the Minister to verify the operation of the establishments, the educational monitoring of the students and the implementation of an inclusive and secure framework, where each child can learn and fully flourish. By this action, the ministry reaffirms its commitment to inclusion school inclusion and the success of children to specific needs, placing the question of education adapted to the heart of national priorities for this school year 2025-2026.
