As usual, the command of the National Gendarmerie (CGN) and the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) have each set up a special preventive security plan for the new social and school school year 2025/2026, by strengthening the mobile and pedestrian patrols around 30,000 schools in the country which will accommodate 12 million students, and mobil materials and humans for this great classic event.
This is the new school year for the 12 million students of the three teaching cycles (primary, medium and secondary). A large national event accompanied and under the vigilant eye of gendarmes and police, where the latter announced, the day before yesterday, the establishment of special plans aimed at securing the 30,000 schools that will receive the millions of students. By going through the strengthening of mobile and pedestrian patrols around schools, including the increase in control points to secure the road axes leading to schools, the mobilization of minors’ protection brigades and arriving by the deployment of road safety brigades, the gendarmerie and the national security have adopted, each, a special plan to secure the school year 2025/2026 and make this event great success. For its part, the command of the National Gendarmerie (CGN) has set up a special preventive security plan for this purpose, said the CGN in a press release made public the day before yesterday. Through its newsletter, the CGN indicated that, “all the available material and human means have been mobilized, in particular through the presence on the ground of road safety units on the network of the territory of competence of the national gendarmerie, in order to fluidify road traffic, with the assignment of elements of the national gendarmerie within fixed and mobile brigades, represented by patrols and control points Secure the axes leading to educational establishments and their surroundings, especially during entry and exit times and ensure the fluidity of road traffic and students’ safety, as well as the security of citizens and their goods, “added the same source. “All territorial brigades are mobilized to cover this national event including road safety units and minors’ protection brigades (BPM),” reported the CGN. In turn, the Directorate General for National Security (DGSN) has set up, on the occasion of the start of the school year 2025-2026, a preventive security plan, with the launch, from yesterday Sunday, of a national awareness campaign on road prevention and safety, said a DGSN statement on Saturday. The DGSN’s special security plan provides for “the strengthening of the deployment of operational units in the field, in particular the mobile and pedestrian patrols around schools, in order to support and guarantee the smooth running of this event, in coordination with the various partners,” said the national security through a statement dating from the day before yesterday.
