A second chance for excluded students.
The Ministry of National Education has appealed to parents of students wishing to reintegrate their children excluded or called upon to redouble their school year, in college or high school, as a 2025/2026 school year, to submit their requests on the digital platform before October 4.
This procedure, implemented at the start of each school year, offers a second chance to excluded students who wish to resume their school career. It is also part of the strategy to combat school loss, a constantly increasing phenomenon and deemed concerned with the educational authorities.
This operation to reintegrate the pupils failed by CEMs and high schools will be exclusively online, the Ministry of Education announced in a press release made public. A week is granted to parents to submit a request to the digital platform via the link http://awlya.education.gov.dz.
No request is taken into account if it is made outside this space or exceeding this period. “If the reintegration procedure is undertaken outside this system, it will be considered void and not avenue,” warns the ministry’s press release, which insists on reinstatement according to the availability of educational places.
Parents of students, having an account to the ministry’s information system and wishing to “submit a request for the reintegration of their children, can do so from Wednesday, September 25 until October 1, by accessing the private account of parents of students whose link is https://awlya.education.gov.dz/and formulate a request for reintegration by completing an intelligence form, by validating and then recovering the receipt of the request, the press release said.
Parents not registered in this digital space must, beforehand, open their own account in the parent space via the same link, in order to be able to file a request for reintegration in the same way and within the same aforementioned deadlines. The ministry wanted to specify that any request for reintegration made outside the platform is considered to be zero and not avenue.
The information system, explained the ministry, makes the organization of the requests of the persons concerned according to unified criteria within the limits of the available teaching places.
Reintegration requests will be studied on a case -by -case basis in exceptional classes, from the lists established by the information system. After the deliberations, the results will be displayed at the level of the establishments and press releases to the parents of students concerned through the Parents space on the digital platform.
Parents will be informed of the deliberations of class councils via their personal account. Students whose request for reintegration is accepted must register in their teaching establishment immediately after the announcement of the results.
The Ministry of National Education has defined, through a circular, several considerations on which the Council bases its decisions by granting the opportunity to redouble the year or not to each student, including that relating to the educational establishment, in particular the taking into account of its capacity and the availability of educational places and other relating to attendance, discipline as well as good conduct.
It should be noted that it is not considered, by the Ministry of National Education, as being in school loss that the student who stops school before the age of 16, since education is compulsory until that age.
This is based on circular n ° 847 of September 29, based on law 08-04 of January 23, 2008 relating to orientation on national education, and which concretizes “the principle of equal opportunities” in terms of education. This insists on compulsory schooling from the age of six, up to 16 years old.
