L’ANIE fixe les modalités – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Independent National Electoral Authority (ANIE) has set the period for periodic review of electoral lists from Monday October 20 to Tuesday November 18, 2025. The operation concerns both new registrations, changes of residence and the updating of personal data. This was stated in a press release from ANIE on Tuesday.

This operation is part, she specifies, “in application of the provisions of Ordinance No. 21-01 of March 10, 2021 relating to the amended and supplemented organic law relating to the electoral regime, in particular its articles 62 and 65”. The Authority invites citizens not yet registered on the electoral lists, aged 18 or over on December 31, 2025 and meeting the required legal conditions, to request registration on the electoral list of the municipality of their residence.

She also specified that voters already registered who have changed their place of residence must request their registration on the electoral list of their new municipality. In this regard, ANIE stressed that citizens who have changed their address within the same municipality or whose personal data contains material errors are required to request the updating of their information on the electoral list of their place of residence.

These procedures must be carried out at the headquarters of the municipal delegation of the Independent Authority, by submitting a request accompanied by an identity document and proof of address. The public is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., every day of the week, with the exception of Fridays and Saturdays, the press release said. It should be noted that Algerian citizens residing abroad are invited to contact Algerian diplomatic or consular representations to register on the electoral lists, “according to the same modalities”, the same source noted.

To facilitate administrative procedures, the Authority explained that citizens can access its official website to check their registration or submit requests for registration, deletion or updating of their personal data.
