Sonatrach signs a memorandum of understanding with the Mozambican national hydrocarbons company

The Sonatrach group signed, Thursday in Maputo, a memorandum of understanding with the Mozambican national hydrocarbon company (ENH), aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of oil and gas in Mozambique, indicates a press release from the public group.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Mozambican Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy, by the CEO of Sonatrach, Rachid Hachichi, and the President of the Board of Directors of the company ENH, Ludovina Bernardo, in the presence of the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energy, Mourad Adjal, on a working visit to Mozambique.
The agreement defines areas of common interest, particularly with regard to cooperation in the framework of hydrocarbon exploration and production projects in Mozambique, and which extend to transport and downstream activities, and the services provided across the entire hydrocarbon value chain. The memorandum of understanding covers cooperation in connection to the natural gas distribution network and strengthening the technical capacities of personnel of the Mozambican company, through the sharing of knowledge in the fields of geology, engineering and petroleum activities during training sessions provided by Sonatrach.
