The World Assembly of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) underlined, in its recently published annual report, the active role of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (Aapi) at the African level, a press release from the Agency said on Monday.
WAIPA highlighted in its annual report, “the remarkable presence of Aapi within the system of African promotion agencies”, specifies the press release.
She recalled, in this context, the mini-summit of African investment promotion agencies, organized by Aapi, on September 5, on the sidelines of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), and which constituted a space for the exchange of expertise and the strengthening of regional cooperation in attracting investments.
The report also addressed the visit of the executive president of “WAIPA”, Ismail Ersahin to the Aapi headquarters in Algiers, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), in an approach reflecting the depth of cooperation between the two institutions and the organization’s interest in the Algerian experience in the development of the investment promotion system, adds the same source.
