🇵🇸– The new Gaza–Israel ceasefire may pause the rockets, but it’s far from peace…it looks more like Hamas buying time than backing down. A senior Hamas official openly admitted the group won’t disarm or relinquish control of Gaza’s security, framing the truce as a temporary phase rather than a transformation. While the deal halts large-scale combat and keeps foreign troops out, it leaves the core issue untouched: Hamas’s weapons and power structure remain intact. In reality, this “ceasefire” may be less an end to war and more a strategic reset before the next round.
