Algerian gymnast Kaylia Nemour signed a new historic feat this Friday by winning the gold medal on the uneven bars at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
With an exceptional score of 15.566, the Algerian champion dominated the final and confirmed, once again, her immense talent and technical mastery.
Gold medalist at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024, the Algerian is expanding her record on the shelves of world gymnastics and becoming the first Arab and African gymnast in history to settle in the restricted club of the world’s elite.
