On the occasion of IATF-2025, agreements were signed by Algerian companies, some examples of which are given below. The Algerian subsidiary of the company “El Sewedy Electric Algeria” signed an agreement with the Ivorian company “Sogelux” worth 100 million euros, relating to the export of locally manufactured electrical equipment to Ivory Coast. The Algerian industrial group “GISB ELECTRIC”, specializing in the manufacture of electrical equipment, and the Ivorian company “Sogelux”, have signed an agreement worth $480 million, relating to the supply of West African markets with Algerian-made electrical equipment.
The company Inatel (Algerian Telephony Industry), a subsidiary of the National Telecommunications Company (ENTC), and its Chinese partner Morefun Electronic Technology, have signed a $300 million agreement for the production and export of two (2) million TPEs to Nigeria. Another contract was concluded between the “LaBelle” group and the Ugandan company “Jaber”, also worth 200 million dollars, for the export of national products to the East African markets.
Added to this is the agreement signed by the Tafadis Company (a subsidiary of the Madar Group) with the Libyan company “Hilal Al-Jabal” to export 360,000 tonnes of refined sugar, worth 180 million dollars. The mechanical industries sector recorded the signing of several agreements, including a memorandum of understanding between “Baic El Djazair” and the South African company “Veltex Trim”, providing for an initial investment of nearly 50 million USD for the manufacture of spare parts and components intended for the production of Baic vehicles in Algeria.
The company Algeria Chemical Specialties (ACS), for its part, concluded three contracts with the company “Algeria Faw Trucks Industries”, which plans to manufacture Chinese trucks of the “Faw” brand in Algeria, for a total amount estimated at 200 million dollars, relating to the supply of various components, such as glazing, rear-view mirrors, paints and plastics. The company “Chery Algérie” has, for its part, signed several agreements with subcontractors responsible for the local production of vehicles, including an agreement concluded with the company “Fabcom” specializing in the manufacture of automobile batteries, for an amount of 130 million dollars. In the electronics sector, several operators have concluded export agreements to African markets.
