Plus de 10 000 candidats au concours de l’UFC – Le Jeune Indépendant

The University of Continuing Education (UFC) experienced a large turnout during the examinations and professional competitions organized on Friday simultaneously across the national territory. This session brought together 10,240 candidates, from 49 wilayas, to take part in a series of tests intended to promote and enhance skills in the public service.

Distributed between several university centers affiliated with the UFC, notably Algiers, Blida, Béjaïa, Oran, M’sila, Biskra, Sétif, Tlemcen, Ghardaïa and Ouargla, the candidates were welcomed in conditions considered exemplary.

According to the university management, all measures have been taken to ensure the smooth running of the exams, thanks to close coordination between the regional centers and the central administration. Particular care was given to educational, administrative and logistical supervision, ensuring a fluid and professional organization.

These tests concern both common bodies and specific and territorial bodies, including both internal and external competitions. They aim to offer civil servants and public sector workers an opportunity for professional progression, within the framework of a national continuing training system.

“The UFC is fully in line with the State policy aimed at strengthening the qualification of personnel and promoting the principle of lifelong learning,” underlined a university executive.

A highlight of this edition, the commissions responsible for developing the topics have been completely renewed. The teams were invited to update the questionnaires taking into account new legislation, developments in research and modern management and administration methods.

Furthermore, the UFC has introduced new working mechanisms intended to reduce bureaucracy and improve the speed and precision of the university public service. This October 2025 session illustrates the University of Continuing Education’s desire to modernize its evaluation and training system, in partnership with several ministries and public institutions.

Through this system, the university intends to actively contribute to increasing the skills of workers and improving professional performance in all sectors of activity.

An initiative which once again confirms the central role of the UFC in the promotion of human capital and the construction of a more efficient and qualified public administration.
