Première table de dissection électronique – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Badari, began this Sunday a working and inspection visit to the Mohamed Béchir El Ibrahimi University of Bordj Bou Arreridj, with a program focused on innovation, technology and rapprochement between research and students.

During this visit, Mr. Badari first inspected the new annex of the Higher School of Teachers, before focusing on the innovative projects carried out by students in the fields of health, agriculture and services. These initiatives illustrate the desire of young researchers to contribute concretely to the socio-economic development of the country through innovative ideas.

The minister also supervised the official launch of the remote electronic dissection table at the University of Adrar, a first in Algeria in the field of medical sciences. Called TECHRIH_TECH, this project, the result of a collaboration between the University of Saïda, a local start-up and an Algerian manufacturer, achieved an integration rate of almost 70%. It represents an important step in the use of digital technologies for medical education, allowing students to follow dissections remotely with unprecedented precision.

Badari hailed these initiatives as concrete examples of the ministry’s commitment to encouraging applied research, technology transfer and innovation in the university system. According to him, these projects strengthen the competitiveness of universities and prepare students to respond to the scientific and technological challenges of the 21st century.

As a reminder, the Minister of Higher Education presented, on May 8, 2024, the first innovative Algerian virtual anatomy table for anatomy training. The table is designed by the development of immersive digital techniques and 3D three-dimensional simulation. The table is designed and manufactured by a consortium of the University of Saïda, an Algerian researcher abroad, the CONDOR company and two startups.
