🇮🇱Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will independently determine which countries can participate in the international security forces being formed in Gaza, as provided for in President Donald Trump’s plan to consolidate the ceasefire.

This was reported by Reuters.

It is reported that the US is negotiating with Indonesia, the UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and Azerbaijan, but Washington has excluded the participation of its own troops. Israel, in turn, opposes the role of Turkey, with which relations sharply deteriorated after the war in Gaza.

Netanyahu emphasized that Israel makes its own security decisions, stating that “neither Washington nor anyone else dictates Israel’s policy,” although both countries remain strategic partners.
