Newly published footage shows Yahya Sinwar moving through Rafah disguised as an elderly civilian—head wrapped, body cloaked—cane in hand to blend into the crowd and slip past IDF eyes. The clips, aired by Al Jazeera and picked up by Israeli outlets, depict the Hamas leader on the move between ruined buildings while attempting to mask his identity. 

The images dovetail with earlier IDF-released material from Sinwar’s final encounter: drone video shows him wounded and throwing a stick toward the hovering camera minutes before he was eliminated by Israeli forces. Dental records and other forensics later confirmed his identity.
