🇧🇷🇧🇷💥🇻🇪🇵🇪🇦🇷 — Detective Vinícius Domingos reported that after the mega-operation in Rio de Janeiro’s Morro do Alemão against the organized group Comando Vermelho (CV), dozens of rifles were seized. Among them were weapons identified as belonging to the armed forces of other countries such as Venezuela, Peru, and Argentina.

➡️ Police collected rifles from various platforms: 11 from the G3 family (German), 16 of the K47 platform (Russian), and 13 of Belgian manufacture, in addition to other rifles of American origin. According to the detective, some of the weapons appear to be counterfeit.

🪖 Two of the seized FAL rifles were identified as belonging to the Venezuelan Armed Forces; two others bore markings from the Brazilian Armed Forces, one was associated with Argentina, and a G3 rifle with the Peruvian Armed Forces. For the detective, this indicates that many weapons do not come from internal theft but instead enter through land routes along the Amazon and Paraguayan borders.
