At the conclusion of a discussion between the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, and the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, the two agreed that, in accordance with the Military Justice Law, the Chief of the General Staff will compile a list of recommended candidates that will be presented to the Minister of Defense for the appointment of a new Military Advocate General – one capable of meeting the significant challenges currently facing the Military Advocate General’s Corps, foremost among them the protection of IDF soldiers.

The Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff are working to establish immediate stability within the Military Advocate General’s Corps, out of their responsibility to the institution and to IDF soldiers.
