The project to digitize purchase and sale orders for shares and bonds on the Algiers Stock Exchange is at a “very advanced” stage, the Commission for the Organization and Control of Stock Exchange Operations (COSOB) indicated on Thursday.
The committee explained on its website that it is organizing working sessions with approved stock brokers in order to carry out this project, in application of Instruction No. 24-10 of the committee dated December 31, 2024.
She added that each broker is working on the development of its digital platform, which allows issuing and tracking purchase and sale orders, as well as consulting the balance of stocks and bonds, with the possibility of programming these orders automatically and digitally, according to the explanations of the “KOSOP” committee.
