At 12:30 this morning, a group of terrorist elements affiliated with the ruling regime in Damascus attempted to infiltrate one of our positions on the western axis, via the agricultural roads adjacent to the town of Walgha. This blatant violation of the truce demonstrates the continued disregard for the agreement by the terrorist regime in Damascus.
Our units detected the movement and immediately engaged the infiltrators, inflicting casualties on the group, with no losses among our ranks.
The National Guard Command affirms that its forces deployed on all axes are fully prepared to respond to any infiltration or attack with decisive measures to safeguard the security and safety of the mountain.
