The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired, this Sunday, a meeting of the Council of Ministers devoted to the examination of several files of national importance, indicated a press release from the presidency.

The agenda for this meeting includes the examination of a bill defining the general rules relating to trust services for electronic transactions and electronic identification. This text aims to govern the development of secure digital services and to strengthen the reliability of electronic exchanges as part of the national digitalization strategy.

The Council of Ministers also considered a presentation relating to the connection of major agricultural projects dedicated to strategic crops to the electricity network, a measure which is part of the policy of modernization and development of the agricultural sector. This effort aims to support the country’s food sovereignty through the promotion of integrated and sustainable projects.

Finally, members of the government examined the new provisions included in the road traffic bill, introducing measures intended to increase safety on the roads and reduce the number of accidents.
