Police announced that former Military Advocate General Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi and former Chief Military Prosecutor Col. Matan Solomosh, who were arrested last night, will appear at 11 a.m. before the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court for a remand hearing.

Investigators suspect the two were involved in the leak of the Sde Teiman abuse footage and later attempted to cover it up, allegedly providing false information about the internal probe into the matter.

Tomer-Yerushalmi briefly went missing yesterday after reportedly leaving a troubling message for her family, prompting a large-scale search. She was later found safe.

Channel 12 now reports that police believe her disappearance was staged—not a suicide attempt but an effort to dispose of a phone that may contain incriminating evidence. According to the report, she carried two phones: one used to trace her location, and another that she allegedly threw into the sea near Tel Aviv. The “farewell letter” she left behind was described by police sources as deliberately cryptic and inconsistent with typical suicide notes.
