The Oran police services successfully seized 10,000 psychotropic tablets and arrested three individuals, we learned on Sunday from the Wilaya Security Directorate.
The operation was carried out following field investigations carried out by the security elements of Daïra of Bir El Djir on the suspicious activity of the suspects in the area of jurisdiction. The latter used their homes as storage and sales locations and used a vehicle to distribute and sell the products in different urban neighborhoods, said the communications and public relations unit.
After close surveillance of their criminal activities and the identification of their hiding places and their identities, the suspects were arrested and 10,000 psychotropic tablets of the “Pregabalin 300 mg” type were seized, according to the same source.
Once all legal procedures had been completed, in coordination with the public prosecutor at the Fellaoucene court, the defendants were presented before the courts, which ordered their placement in pre-trial detention for trafficking, promotion and storage of psychotropic substances, it was indicated.
